**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, husbandry, and exercising.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of animal enclosures, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Assist in restraining patients for treatments and procedure as directed by veterinarians.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all animals receive proper care and attention.
- Janitorial duties; maintain cleanliness of clinic, including lobby, exam rooms, bathrooms and staff areas, laundry

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred; clinical experience is a plus
- Degree or certificate in animal care will guarantee consideration for the position.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team as well as being able to complete tasks independently.
- Detail
- oriented self-starter who can learn on the job and takes initiative in completing tasks.
- A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their welfare.
- Ability to handle physical tasks associated with animal care, including lifting and moving animals as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
