Concrete Forming Foreman is a skilled tradesperson who leads and manages concrete forming crews on construction sites. They are responsible for overseeing the layout, construction, and dismantling of forms, ensuring they are built to specifications, on time, and safely. They also manage crew members, track progress, and ensure quality control. Key responsibilities of a Concrete Forming Foreman include:

- **Leading and supervising a team**:Managing a crew of carpenters and laborers, providing direction, and ensuring efficient workflow.
- **Interpreting blueprints and structural drawings**:Understanding project requirements and translating them into formwork construction.
- **Formwork construction**:Building and assembling formwork structures for foundations, walls, columns, and other concrete elements.
- **Quality control**:Ensuring formwork is built accurately, with proper bracing and alignment, and is ready for concrete placement.
- **Safety compliance**:Enforcing safety regulations, conducting safety meetings, and promoting a safe work environment.
- **Coordination with other trades**:Collaborating with other construction professionals, such as superintendents, project managers, and engineers.
- **Material management**:Planning tasks, managing material usage, and tracking crew hours.
- **Training and mentorship**:Guiding and developing less experienced team members.

In essence, the Concrete Forming Foreman is the on-site leader who ensures the concrete forming process is executed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week

Additional pay:
