**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Redi-Mix Dispatcher, manages and organizes deliveries on a daily basis for AZ drivers out of our Woodstock, ON location.

This position is based in Harley, ON (between Brantford and Woodstock).

**THE DAY TO DAY**
- Deliver outstanding customer service when handling order inquiries, updates, and any customer concerns, using computerized systems to track and respond promptly.
- Manage the scheduling and direction of pickup and delivery activities, leveraging route-planning and dispatch software to ensure the most timely and efficient service possible.
- Provide precise, computer-generated directions and route details to drivers for pickup and delivery operations.
- Perform other tasks and projects assigned by management, frequently using computers to document and execute tasks.

**WHAT YOU NEED**

An effective Dispatcher must have the following:

- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all computer-based tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
- Exceptional customer service skills, maintaining composure and professionalism when resolving issues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, adept at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced, computer-driven environment.
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically and respectfully.
- Solid understanding of regional transport timelines and logistics considerations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting as well as perform independently under high-pressure situations.
- Must have own transportation
