**Working Environment**:
Waterloo Biofilter Systems Inc. manufactures all standard treatment systems out of the manufacturing plant on Massey Road in Guelph, Ontario. The office and manufacturing environment are contained within one climate-controlled building. This position will require the employee to travel between the manufacturing plant and the office environment to interface with other staff and departments. The primary area of work for the employee will be an operations office located within the manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Production Manager - this position requires the employee to setup control panels for use with Waterloo Biofilter wastewater treatment units and provide annotation to schematics for installation of said panels. The tasks include:

- Setup Waterloo Smart Panels (PLC Panel) with site-specific information provided by our engineering department. Please note, a propriety software is used for this process, so no code is required to be written to setup these control panels; only the usage of text fields and preconfigured dropdown menus.
- Providing technical support and trouble-shooting advice to Operations & Maintenance Department Technicians, Installers, Electricians, and Homeowners (after being trained on our Panel Hardware). A cell phone will be provided to hired employee for use while within our facility such that they may take these calls.
- Travel and accompany Waterloo Biofilter Technicians to conduct onsite electrical trouble-shooting on Control Panels operating Wastewater filtration systems.
- Assist other Production Department employees with order picking and small assembly creation where required.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Basic understanding of electrical (AC/DC) power fundamentals/principles.
- Knowledge of electrical safety with both AC and DC power sources.
- Prior experience with control panels used in general industrial automation.
- Experience working in or adjacent to a manufacturing environment.
- Physically located within 50km radius of Guelph Ontario
- Basic understanding of 2D AutoCAD.
- Some experience with programming logic or programmable logic controllers (PLC).
- Ability to independently follow day-to-day scheduling.
- Ability to work cohesively with other employees and departments.
