**Overview**:
Daan Go Cake Lab is an Asian-inspired patisserie known for imaginative flavours and playful desserts that spark joy. With multiple locations in Toronto and a growing presence in British Columbia, we’re excited to expand our team at our **Richmond** location

We are seeking **enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff** to be the friendly face of our shop. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere while delivering top-tier service. If you’re passionate about hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love working with people, we’d love to meet you

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming experience
- Assist with seating arrangements and manage the flow of customers
- Manage reservations and support efficient table turnover (if applicable)
- Provide menus and highlight daily specials or promotions
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately via POS system
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Handle customer feedback and help resolve service concerns professionally
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and desserts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front of house areas, including display cases, dining spaces, and waiting areas
- Track inventory and keep displays tidy and well-stocked
- Slice and decorate cakes for retail sale (training provided)
- Assist with basic cake decoration tasks
- Perform daily opening and closing duties
- Support in training new team members as needed

**Who You Are**:

- A people-person who enjoys creating positive guest experiences
- A strong communicator with a friendly, professional attitude
- Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- A team player who is also self-motivated
- Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 20 kg
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Bonus Points If You Have**:

- Experience in a café, barista, or hospitality role
- Previous customer service or retail experience
