**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and chop ingredients for various dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in cooking and assembling meals according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is a plus.
