**The role**
This role is responsible for all shipping and receiving activities as well as the overall maintenance of the office building, both internal and external. You will be responsible for examining the building on a regular basis for needed repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness.

**What you will focus on**
- Responsible for the facility maintenance including preventative maintenance and basic repairs, housekeeping, and coordinate repairs conducted by third parties
- Manage all shipping and receiving activities
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and obtain approval on inventory purchases as needed
- Ensure company assets and inventory are stored, easily retrievable and documented
- Unpack and route goods to appropriate areas
- Maintain internal record-keeping
- Operate lift truck, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
- Picking products to be used on the production line
- Document warehouse, inventory and facilities procedures and train employees as required
- Maintain a safe work environment based on company policy
- Complete Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) training to become a certified member
- Attend and participate as a JHSC representative
- Other duties as assigned

**What we’re looking for**
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Capable of planning assigned tasks with a drive to execute them effectively
- Ability to self-manage, multi-task, prioritize, and meet critical deadlines
- Proven problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Lift truck operator license an asset but not required. Will train in house
- Available to respond to urgent facility or security concerns on a 24-hour basis.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Experience using basic hand tools
- May be required to work up to 48 hours per week during peak season
- As part of the employment criteria, individuals need to meet company criminal check requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

- Mostly indoors in a warehouse, some outdoor work required for unloading shipments or company events.
