**THE ROLE**
Under the direction of the Policy Development and Research Manager, Military Family Services (MFS), the MFS Programs Coordinator drafts and prepares various documents such as briefing materials, resources, presentations, and reports associated with national military family services and programs for review and approval. They assist in the publishing and distribution of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to these programs and services. They facilitate the implementation and coordinate the maintenance of national programs and services, with a focus on the National Volunteer Program. They coordinate and compile information, correspondence, and documentation for these programs, organize and compile data for analysis, and make recommendations as necessary. They will also coordinate distribution processes and arrange training sessions, workshops, and meetings related to national programs and services. They coordinate and maintain databases and procedures for the administration and maintenance of national programs and services. They liaise with CFMWS volunteer managers to ensure goals and objectives are met.
**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED**
College diploma or certificate in Social Science, Education or a related field AND several years of experience in family support, social services or a related field

In the delivery of family support services
In policy and program coordination
In project coordination
In budget administration
In managing databases
In developing website content
In data analysis
In coordinating training sessions, workshops, and meeting minutes
In drafting correspondence, presentations and other documents
In military writing, an asset
**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

leadership.
**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English or French Essential
Bilingual an asset
Reading: Advanced
Writing: Functional
Oral: Advanced
