**ELBOWS UP A Locally Owned & Operated Auto Body Shop Is Seeking an Experienced Auto Body Technician.**

Our Client is a well-established and trusted name in auto body repair and collision services, known for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service and they are currently seeking committed Body Shop Technicians of all experience levels (from apprentice to those 5+ years of experience).

**Your Role**

As an Auto Body Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in collaborating with a skilled team that is passionate about bringing damaged vehicles back to life. Your expertise will help ensure our customers' vehicles look and perform as if they just rolled off the showroom floor. Auto Body Technicians will perform vehicle body, frame and component repairs and replacements that align with our standard of excellence and embody a “fix it right the first time” attitude.

**Required Skills**:

- Icar Platinum Certification in Structural Repair

**Responsibilities**
- **Assess Damage**: Perform detailed inspections to determine the extent of structural and cosmetic damage and provide estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed.
- **Repair & Restore**: Straighten bent frames, replace or repair damaged panels, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. This will also include replacing front end, body, doors and frame, underbody components, removing damaged fenders, panels and grills.
- **Precision Work**: Use welding, grinding, and sanding tools to repair or replace parts, bolt/weld replacement parts into place to ensure a flawless finish.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct thorough post-repair inspections to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with estimators and other team members to complete repairs efficiently.
- **Workplace Safety**: Maintain a clean and safe workspace. Identify additional/missed damages for approval.
- **Customer Focus**: Communicate repair progress and timelines to management and ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Final Inspection**: Inspect repaired vehicles, identify additional/missed damages for approval and test drive vehicles for proper handling.

**Required Tools, Equipment & Licences**
- A Valid Class 5F drivers license.
- Tools of the trade.
- Steel-toed safety boots.
