**Maintenance associate duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Maintains the condition of the following, but not limited to: flooring, walls, stairways, carpets, lobby areas, pools, parking lot and lawn maintenance.
- Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
- Handles necessary repairs and maintenance requests in a timely fashion, including the installation of equipment and parts to hotel rooms and building.
- Follows local and provincial building codes.
- Complies with all company safety regulations.
- Reports any issues to the maintenance supervisor.
- Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
- Reads and follows manuals, and other written instructions.
- Moves furniture or equipment to storage garages and hotel rooms.
- Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools and electric tools.
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Collaborates with maintenance workers, maintenance supervisor, and contractors in certain circumstances.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- At least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
- A certification in building maintenance is a plus.
- Must have a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
