More specifically, you will:

- Supervise the daily administrative operations and compliance (1st level) of the 1859 Private Investment Management branch network;
- Supervise 6 to 9 Investment Associates, receptionists and/or clerks on a daily basis and supervise the activities of a team of 6 to 8 Investment Advisors
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of the branch, including account management, fund management, receipt and delivery of client securities, receipt book management as well as managing correspondence, scheduling, replacement etc.
- Ensure a consistent customer experience across the GP1859 network and the implementation and adherence to operational quality and compliance standards, according to current policies and procedures.
- Ensure dissemination, understanding and adherence to administrative policies and procedures
- Act as an advisor to the AVP on the performance and quality of the work of the team of associates under his/her leadership, and contribute to the Bank's business development by ensuring the development of effective policies, programs and strategies.
- Escalate, negotiate and coordinate the resolution of issues with various internal and external partners
- Act as a change agent in the implementation of special projects from head office;
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience including experience in a similar role or at least one year in personnel management combined with 3 years of experience in business development and customer service
- Course on securities trading (CSC)
- Experience coaching and training staff
- Management experience desirable
- Compliance expertise
- Change management skills
- Bilingualism in French/English required, as you will be serving our non-French speaking clients
