**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in stocking supplies and inventory management to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped.
- Support the cooking staff during busy service periods by providing timely assistance as needed.
- Follow all instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing excellent service within the culinary field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.75-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
