**About the Opportunity**:
**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Graduate of bachelor's degree program
- Registered or eligible for registration with correspondence college or governing body
- Minimum three (3) years recent acute care and/or long-term care experience. Experience caring for palliative patients and families considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills including oral, written and listening skills which enable positive interactions with patients, family members and other health care providers.
- Demonstrated ability to interact in a sensitive, empathetic, tactful and confidential manner.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with strong priority setting and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others and influence and facilitate positive change is required.
- Demonstrated evidence in professional growth through self-learning and continuing education required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, workload measurement systems, Meditech, and SHARE. Knowledge of Seascape, data base management programs an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of the broader health care system in Nova Scotia, including local community agencies and resources.
- Mental Health First Aid Training is an asset.
- Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility related to the changing needs of the program.
- Competencies in other languages is an asset, French preferred.

**Hours**:

- Long Assignment, Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- This position is approximately 24 months in length

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$33.97 - $42.89 Hourly
