Janitor

The company is a successful, well‐financed, progressive organization that is regarded as one of the best companies in the paper industry.**Position #1 Janitorial responsibilities include**:

• Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick‐up
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure supply rooms are maintained and fully equipped
• Complete non‐routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Must have the physical capability to: sweep, mop, vacuum, steam clean, wax, stock shelves, lift up to 30 lbs.
• Working as part of the Janitorial team, this is a position that requires (and provides) flexibility in scheduling while meeting demands of the plant. This position can be either 9:00am to 3:00pm OR 3:00pm to 9:00pm daily for 4 days per week and requires weekend coverage on a scheduled rotation. There is potential for more hours on an as needed basis.**Position #2 Janitorial responsibilities include**:

• This is an Industrial Janitorial role.
• Frequently working at heights in a fall arrest harness.
• Must be able to work in areas with high temperatures and humidity.
• Must be comfortable working in a thick dust environment, wearing a half mask respirator.
• Have the physical ability to transport cleaning equipment from area to area, including raising and lowering using ropes, pulleys, etc.
• Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed.
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick‐up
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure supply rooms are maintained and fully equipped
• Complete non‐routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Must have the physical capability to: sweep, mop, vacuum, steam clean, wax, stock shelves, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Working as part of the Janitorial team, this is a position that works 9:00am to 3:00pm daily for 4 days per week and requires weekend coverage on a scheduled rotation. There is potential for more hours on an as needed basis.-
