**CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Maintenance Worker (Temporary) for Waterdown Management**

This position will be located at 252 Queens Quay West in Toronto.

The Maintenance Worker will be required to provide proactive maintenance support and respond to vendor needs as required. You will work independently and will be required to be a team player with an action oriented mindset to achieve the daily goals.

**Role Specific Accountabilities include**:
On a daily basis you will be **responsible** for:

- Ensure the exterior of the shopping and parking complex s kept clean and orderly.
- Respond in a prompt and effective manner to vendor requests for clean up, minor repair or maintenance work as required.
- Regularly dispose and prepare garbage and recycling for disposal.
- Perform minor repairs such as bulb change and grounds maintenance.
- Sweep and mop complex to ensure the area is kept to standard.
- Power wash the complex as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned, in accordance with properly maintenance objectives as required.

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in a maintenance support role.
- Ability to communicate in English
- Problem Solving skills with the ability to work independently and a bias for action.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A pleasant and approachable demeanour
- Positive work attitude is essential
- Ability to perform physical work

**Hours of Work/Compensation**:

- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes various days and hours. Typical work schedule will require you to be available for up to 7 hours a day Monday to Friday with up to 3 hours per day on weekends.
- $16.55 per hour with availability of up to 37 hours per week.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
