**Role**: The Delivery Driver, Fuel DZ is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum products to various commercial and residential customers as dispatched up to 350 km radius of the Longlac office. The driver will operate a commercial straight tanker truck holding up to 25, 000 liters of product. The driver will follow predetermined routes, adhere to safety regulations, maintain accurate records, and interact with customers with a high level of professionalism.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Fuel Delivery**:Drive to various commercial and residential customer locations to pump fuel from the tanker into the customers’ tanks following pre-determined route provided by dispatchers. Display excellent defensive driving skills with the ability to anticipate and respond to potential hazards. Adhere to all Highway Traffic Act regulations while driving by maintaining an accurate daily logbook, using an Electronic Logging device. Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any concerns immediately. Take tank dip reading both before and after offloading at any bulk plant, terminal, or in customer tanks, to reduce likelihood of spills and further complications.
- **Safety Compliance and Regulations**: Maintain a thorough understanding of, and strictly adhere to the Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations to ensure the safe handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials. Respond and report appropriately to any emergency situations that arise. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow internal and customer procedures for the safe handling and delivery of hazardous products.
- **Administrative Task**: Complete and submit TDG documents, Bills of Lading, delivery tickets, and trip summaries to the Dispatcher and Operations Supervisor within ½ hour at the end of each shift. Utilize technology (Sonim mobile phone) for precise documentation of customer services rendered, ensuring accurate data capture and billing.
- **Secondary Responsibilities**:Act as backup to the primary Fuel Delivery Drivers and Warehouse Technician during planned and unplanned breakdowns. Deliver lubricant products and industrial supplies using the company truck. As needed, travel to other Pepco sites (day trips and occasional over-night trips) to complete fuel, lubricants, or industrial supplies deliveries. When warehouse workload increases, assist with warehouse tasks such as assembling and loading orders, receiving, and putting away products, taking inventory, assisting in the warehouse maintenance, and housekeeping. 

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- **Location**:Preferably lives in Longlac, ON or other nearby areas.
- **Typical schedule**:Monday to Friday, 8-14 hours per day. (Earlier start time, overtime and weekend work may be required). Must follow Hours of Service regulations as set by the Highway Traffic Act Ontario Regulation 555-06.
- **Travel Requirement**: 75% during the scheduled shift.
- **Education**:High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Licenses and Certifications**:Valid Class DZ license and clean driver’s abstract required.
- **Physical Requirements**:Able to lift and carry; or push and pull items from 20 to 50 lbs.Physical endurance is necessary to handle long hours of sitting or driving and the physical demands of loading and unloading cargo and pulling a fuel hose.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 1-year commercial driving experience required. Prior experience in the transportation of petroleum products and/or hazardous materials preferred.
- **Technology**: Able to use a smart phone to conduct basic administrative tasks.
- **Skills**:Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Working proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication). Mechanically inclined to detect basic malfunctions on truck being operated. Safety, service, and savings mindset.
