Duties:

- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the specifications and layout of brick structures
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with bricks, using chalk lines, plumb bobs, or levels
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation
- Lay bricks or other masonry units to build walls, arches, chimneys, or other structures
- Cut or shape bricks, stones, or blocks using hand tools or power tools
- Clean excess mortar from finished surfaces and polish them with sponges or trowels
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or other masonry units

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
- Strong knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and other masonry materials
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in bricklaying techniques
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with brick structures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $42.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- English not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- BRICKLAYER: 3 years (preferred)
