Line Cook

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and seasoning ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.
- Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Not required
- knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety practices, and meal preparation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes to guests.

Pay: $15.00-$20.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
