As a member of the service team as a new Zelus family member, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals that bring with them a wide array of talents, skills and backgrounds. This role will perform various tasks while working out in the field. Installations, repair service and preventative maintenance including inspections of overhead cranes, hoists and other material handling equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for performing the following job functions:

- Estimates quotes for repairs as required - referred by Technical Service Manager and Service Manager
- Estimates dates of delivery to Service Departments, based on supplier information and knowledge of Zelus availability and schedules
- Maintains contact with customers to ensure realization of customers’ expectations
- Performs follow-ups as required
- Complies with Zelus Policies and Procedures
- Complies with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments, the Zelus Safety Procedures and participates in training programs as and when required
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical proficiency in related discipline
- Ability and willingness to develop into a Service Manager or preferably a Technical Service Manager role in the future
- Strong computer skills; MS Office
- Strong interpersonal skills; deals with conflict effectively
- The ability to work under pressure and handle stress
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and drawings
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization if required
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
