Sherwood Care is a dedicated healthcare facility located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We focus on providing comprehensive care to elderly residents who require assistance with daily living activities. Our mission is to continually enhance our facility to meet the evolving medical, physical, spiritual, and mental health needs of our community.

This position involves assisting the Chaplain in spiritual program planning, implementation and other applicable duties.
- Assisting planning/organizing and facilitating of daily religious/spiritual programming
- Assistant with coordinating / organizing and implementing spiritual care from residents own faith
- Portering residents
- Supporting residents spiritual care at end-of-life
- Assisting Chaplain with office duties such as gathering information for writing resident spiritual/social profiles
- Other tasks as directed by the Chaplin

Qualifications:

- Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN);
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada;
- **International students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible.**

**Education**:

- Enrolled or planning to enrol in post secondary;
- Experience with seniors an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 16 weeks

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
