Guest Service Agent

The Guest Services Agent position is generally responsible for representing the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest’s stay, determining the guest’s reservation status and identifying their duration of stay. He or she will also process the guest’s method of payment, be customer-service oriented, and work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room status reports are current and up to date.
The duties and responsibilities for the Guest Services Agent include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotel.
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts.
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
- Issue room keys
- Review accounts and charges with guests during the check out process.
- Posting of incidental charges Transmit and receive messages, using telephones
- Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems.
- Make and confirm reservations. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
- Work as a team with all hotel departments
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Maintain clean, organized working environment at all times
- Keep the guest comfort and needs as your first priority at all times
Qualifications:
- Strong Customer Service Background
- Positive attitude
- Strong, concise communication skills, working knowledge of the English language
- Basic math skills
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- Previous hotel experience preferred but not required
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $14.25-$15.20 per hour
