Commercial Glazier

We are a commercial glazing company, operating in the Waterloo Region.

As part of our growth, we have an immediate opening for an experienced glazier for our dynamic team.

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, motivated individual with experience in the glazing and aluminum cladding field.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Cut, fit, install and replace glass in residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
- Measure and cut glass.
- Install aluminum storefront, windows, entrances, and curtainwall systems.
- Install door hardware on aluminum doors.
- Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products.
- Install, fit, and attach architectural metals or related products in commercial and residential buildings.
- Prepare and install skylights.
- Repair and service residential windows, commercial aluminum doors, and other glass supporting structures, and replace damaged glass or faulty sealant.
- Install wall cladding complete with all backup systems to conform to project requirements.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the glazing industry - commercial aluminum window and door frames, curtain walls. Minimum of 3-5 years of job experience
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedure, and materials required.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
- Work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Salary range: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 DOE plus benefits and RRSP

Working days - Monday to Friday.
