The Department of Economics and Finance is a research-intensive academic unit consisting of 26 faculty members, and offers a range of academic programs leading to the degrees: BA, BComm, MA, and PhD. The Department is also an integral part of the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph. The School delivers one of the largest undergraduate business programs in Ontario with over 4,000 students currently enrolled, and offers a wide range of specialized programs in business and economics across undergraduate, graduate, and professional education.
