**The Role**
- We are seeking a Cyber Security & Compliance Lead who has the drive to deliver on operational security initiatives and governance within Attabotics. You’re able to help us achieve designations and certifications to ensure compliance and are someone that can effectively lead the evolution of our IT Governance and Risk efforts.

**Who You Are**:

- Oversee junior security operations staff.
- Analyze and create security policies to ensure we have a cohesive strategy based on Security best practice and industry standards.
- Review our current processes and procedures to determine gaps in security (physical and cloud).
- Audit, assess, and recommend improvements to processes, procedures, and systems to serve our security certification goals, and provide recommendations to advance our company's overall security stance.
- Support our corporate objectives of obtaining security designations including: NIST, ISO and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with team members (Solution, and IT Infrastructure architects) to develop an action plan for security system development and implementation.
- Prepare security risk assessments and management strategies to inform decision-making for key projects which impact information security.
- Interface with operations, sales, and legal teams, to address any IT security compliance-related requirements brought forward internally or by our customers.
- Ensure that overall architecture/design, systems, development standards, and interfaces include security considerations.
- Adhere to company and legal regulations regarding security concerns and safe work environment.
- Participate in defining, identifying, and classifying critical information assets, assess threats and gaps regarding those assets and implement safeguard recommendations.
- Coordinate and contribute to the evolution of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance efforts including change management, access management, incident management, and business recovery.
- Manage a variety of Security tools.
- Stay current with industry advancements within the IT Security field.
- Maintain and grow a strong understanding of current IT security risks, vulnerabilities, and solutions.

**What We Need**:

- Post-Secondary Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years' experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and development within Cybersecurity and IT governance.
- Knowledge of security tools, technologies, and methods
- Collaborative team player with a strong ethic with strong engagement skills to lead security efforts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to communicate Security gaps and controls to management and IT team.
- Strong interest in learning about technology, keeping up to date with current security changes and seeking out leading edge technology solutions.
- Experience with scripting language.
- Experience obtaining and maintaining security designations.
