Are you a dynamic, strategic thinker who thrives on building meaningful connections and driving positive change? The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA (HBSPCA) is seeking a Corporate Partnerships, Sponsorship & Grant Lead to cultivate new relationships, identify impactful sponsorships, and secure essential grant funding to support our mission of helping animals and enhancing community programs.

**Your Mission**

In this multifaceted role, you will wear many hats - creative storyteller, strategic thinker, and relationship builder - all focused on three key areas:

- **Corporate Partnerships**: Build and nurture strong corporate relationships by listening to partners' needs, identifying opportunities that align with their goals and ours, and creating strategic proposals to form long-term, meaningful partnerships.
- **Sponsorships**: Develop and execute sponsorship strategies that bring visibility and resources to the HBSPCA. You'll work closely with our volunteers to craft compelling sponsorship opportunities for events, campaigns, and programs that engage corporate sponsors and meet their objectives.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- **Build & Maintain Relationships**: Connect with corporate partners, sponsors, and granting bodies to understand their needs and interests, and develop tailored proposals that align with HBSPCA’s mission and programs.
- **Research & Identify Opportunities**:Identify leads, potential partners, and grant opportunities that align with the organization’s goals. Use your keen sense for spotting trends and partnership potential to expand our reach and maximize impact.
- **Work Collaboratively with Volunteers**:Engage and lead volunteers who support sponsorship and partnership development, providing guidance and working together to craft and deliver successful proposals.
- **Strategize & Innovate**:Think strategically to match our programs, initiatives, and events with the best partners and funding opportunities. Tailor partnership strategies to meet deadlines and organizational priorities.

**Who We’re Looking For**

**Skills & Experience**
- **Relationship-Building & Networking**:Strong interpersonal skills to develop, maintain, and grow partnerships with corporate sponsors, grant-makers, and stakeholders.
- **Project & Deadline Management**: Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, managing multiple opportunities, proposals, and relationships concurrently.
- **Innovative & Solution-Oriented**: A proactive thinker who can identify opportunities and align them with HBSPCA’s mission, making each partnership and sponsorship truly impactful.
- **Volunteer Leadership**: Comfortable working with and guiding volunteers in the partnership and sponsorship process.

**Salary Range**: $55,000 -75,000 CAD

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
