Installer /delivery Driver

**TITLE: Installation Technician**

***:
At assigned customer location, delivers and installs customer's goods (BLINDS, AREA RUGS, AND DRAPERY), sells additional products and services and picks up customer goods as appropriate. Maintains high standards of customer service and additional sales performance. Completes daily paperwork.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Be a good ambassador/representative for COIT Services.
- Provides prompt and professional service to all customers. This includes being polite, courteous and respectful.
- Completes customer service schedules on time. Keeps internal personnel informed of daily schedule. As appropriate, reschedules customer service appointments and schedules additional service stops.
- Determines customer requirements and provides prompt and professional installation services as required. Installs various types of drapery treatments, including overhead fixtures and related window coverings. Delivers and places area rugs.
- Correctly and efficiently installs, repairs or replaces hardware. Keeps customer informed of frayed or damaged cords and hardware.
- Demonstrates professional knowledge of all company products and services.
- Determines customer requirements.
- Ask customers for additional business and successfully sell add-on services and products (upholstery cleaning; succession sales; wood floor services, etc.)
- Follow all company procedures and requirements concerning equipment and tool maintenance and operation.
- Collects customer payment.
- Handle customer complaints and challenging situations in a professional manner.
- Identifies various types of fabrics and their inherent problems, and identifies source of specific problems (i.e. shrinkage, wrinkling, stains, etc.). Makes recommendation to plant manager as to how to resolve customer complaints, or has the ability to resolve the problem at the customers home.
- Loads with care items to be delivered, and protects customer goods.
- Following established policies, resolves customer complaints in a manner mutually satisfactory to both customer and company. Provide timely feedback to the Company regarding customer complaints.
- Follows all safety procedures.
- Operate company vehicle with good judgment, obeying all laws and rules of the road.
- Maintains an acceptable driving record.
- Maintains assigned company vehicle, equipment and tools in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- On a daily basis, accurately complete route sheet and have all supporting documents in order.
- Satisfactorily complete daily check-out and check-in procedures in a timely manner.
- Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality.

**OTHER DUTIES**:

- Maintain a high level of personal grooming and appearance.
- Wear a clean, neat and proper company uniform every day.
- As assigned, assists in the training of new employees.
- Maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the company.
- Attend training meetings as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School completion or equivalent experience.
- Industry experience helpful (installation). Outside sales experience helpful.
- Basic mathematics.

This position is physically demanding. There is extensive walking, standing, stooping, bending, and the use of ladders. Travelling to each job location requires the safe operation of a company vehicle. The equipment and product must be unloaded from the vehicle and carried to the worksite. The weight of drapes, boards, blinds, shades or area rugs can vary.

**Salary**: $41,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
