Sarens Canada is currently recruiting for a Shop Labourer based out of our Leduc, AB office. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Operations / Fleet Supervisors. RESPONSIBILITES AND EXPECTATIONS: - Delivery and pick up of parts from various locations around Leduc, Edmonton and surrounding areas. - Daily responsibilities for shop and office sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning of equipment and garbage/recycling removal. - Responsible for the washing of Sarens equipment / components associated with fleet maintenance. - Assist with parts and component packaging and labelling for inventory purposes. - General assistance in other areas of the shop & yard as required. - Assist in yard for the purpose of loading and unloading crane components. - Shovel, salt and maintain walkways and entrances. - Other tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS OVERVIEW: - Must have a valid provincial drivers license (Class 1 advantageous) - Must have the ability to understand/follow basic instructions. - Must demonstrate basic reading, writing, mathematical and technical skills, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. - Manual/Physical dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks is required. - The ability to complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner. - Must have ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. - Must be able to work outdoors and exposed to the elements when required. - Must be well organized and able to work with minimum supervision. - Forklift experience preferred. - The ability to adhere to set hours and to the predetermined weekly schedule 7am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. OT as required for operational purposes.
