Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team on a term position. It is an 8 week term, Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day. Must be available between the hours of 8:00am
- 6:00pm, beginning as early as May 20th, until mid July. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, play, and grow. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a daycare setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, social, and cognitive development
- Create a safe and clean environment for children, ensuring their well-being at all times
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of children in your care
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, diapering, and other basic care needs as required

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working with children in a caregiving role would be beneficial
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to engage and educate children through age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
