**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various settings such as hotels, hospitals, or industrial facilities. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy creating a clean and welcoming environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:

- Understand all operations of housekeeping and laundry equipment
- Follow WHMIS legislation about proper handling of chemicals used in the housekeeping and laundry department
- Work cooperatively with other departments in carrying out housekeeping and laundry duties
- Follows routines as designated by the Environmental Service Manager or designate
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a Long term Care environment is an asset
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Committed, genuine, hardworking, creative, caring
- Must be available for morning and afternoon shifts
- Proven ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks and respond to multiple demands
- Knowledge of the residents Bill of Rights and promotion of same within daily practice
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (Minimum 2 doses received)
