**What Will You Do?**
- Assist with written content for internal and external corporate communication materials such as press releases, announcements, weekly blog posts, newsletters, etc.
- Create and implement corporate communications campaigns in conjunction with various departments to meet corporate goals.
- Actively search for and propose new public relations opportunities or initiatives.
- Assist with copywriting for the Erb Group online platforms (e.g., corporate websites, social media profiles, etc).
- Social media management duties as required (monitor profiles, monitor industry trends and enhance the online presence of Erb through engaging and relevant content planning).
- Act as the primary liaison for all media outlets as required (gain media coverage at events, promote news-worthy stories, promote awards, etc).
- Assist with the creation of a crisis communications plan.
- Assist in the planning, organization, promotion of, and execution of internal and external events such as Erb Excellence Day (350+ attendees), employee appreciation barbecues, employee engagement events, industry trade shows, etc.
- Assist with a variety of administrative and organizational tasks for the department
- All other duties as required.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Minimum completion of a college diploma or other related program study in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing.
- Attention to detail, being organized and a positive team player
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Good judgement, strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Task oriented with the ability to keep focused and organized among competing demands
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and other social media channels and best practices
