**THE POSITION**:
Construction Laborer Crew Member

Empire Insulation is looking for a construction labourer with a minimum of one year of construction related experience. Insulation experience and/or drywall experience is an asset. Empire is willing to train the right person with the right attitude. The position would be to work with our insulation and drywall crews doing spray foam, batt, blown-in, and drywall installations, This would be a great opportunity for someone to get a bunch of different construction related experience and grow with our company.

Our shop is 5 minutes outside of Lacombe so the successful applicant would need to have a valid driver's license and a vehicle. Starting wage is $20 per hour, PLUS vacation pay of 6% and holiday pay of 3.6%, or more $ if you have more experience. Health Spending Account (Health and Dental, Vision, etc) after 6 months full-time.

We work Monday to Thursday 10 hour days, so every weekend is a long weekend.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a positive attitude and be able to treat everyone with respect and kindness
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of construction experience (insulation, drywall, or other)
- Must have quality experience with power tools and hand tools
- Steel toed work boots are required, all other safety equipment will be supplied
- The job includes manual labour and requires the person to be able to lift 50+ pounds
- A valid drivers license and a vehicle are required. Need to have your own transportation
- Must be committed to work safely and follow the company’s safety policies and culture
- Must be punctual, reliable, mature, and self-motivated. Must be able to work independently and also in a team. Must have a willingness to learn. Our work atmosphere is laid back and fun... no egos or attitudes allowed.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
