**A Snapshot of Your Day**

Trench Canada Instrument Transformers is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Production Supervisor who will work hand in hand with the production team. This is an in-person role based in Pickering, providing you the opportunity to engage with managing a fast-paced manufacturing unionized environment. You'll help the team implement positive changes in the company's policies and procedures where necessary, execute production schedules, support onboarding processes and training of unionized employees, drive a positive work environment, and help implement and support our EHS policies and procedures.

Your Tasks:

- Supervise hourly employees to meet safety, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Support Team Leaders to ensure that productivity is maximized, and resources are utilized for the organization's most significant benefit.
- Follow up as necessary to resolve issues identified through audits, escalation sheets, production meetings, and interactions with employees and support staff.
- Resolve problems and implement improvements in productivity, quality, and safety.
- Accurately complete Production, Human Resources, Payroll and Administrative reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to and support EHS policies and practices.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Postsecondary education (i.e., Manufacturing, Operations Management, ENG) or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience as a supervisor.
- Knowledge of computers (SAP experience an asset).
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
- Competent level of organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Previous work experience in a unionized production environment utilizing lean production principles is an asset.
