**Position Summary**:
Under the direction of the Executive Chef is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all cookware, dishware, cutlery

**Experience**:

- Use of dishwashers
- Use of kitchen equipment.
- Hotel and restaurant experience and asset.
- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
- Must be able to work varying shifts including Early Mornings
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Always demonstrate a high level of guest service

**Education**:

- Must have a Canadian high school graduation or equivalent
- Must have experience with dishwashing equipment
- Must be able to read, write, and comfortably communicate in English
- Must understand oral and written instructions
- Must have completed Food Safe I
- Must have successfully completed WHMIS training

**Personal Characteristics**:

- Empathy for and understanding of the needs of seniors
- Good health
- No allergies to cleaning chemicals
- Able to perform physical work, i.e. lifting, bending etc.
- Must have a pleasant, co-operative and supportive attitude
- Willingness and ability to learn

**Others**:
1. Must be able to stand for 2 hours, lift 20 kg

2. Must be free from communicable diseases

3. Criminal Record Check - pre-employment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
