**Our expectations**

The accounting technician will contribute to the validation and processing of invoices related to company expenses. He/she will also provide support to suppliers and internal business for all questions concerning expense invoicing and related payments. The accounting technician will work closely with the various internal departments and Rona stores.

**Your role**
- Verify and validate invoices received via an artificial imaging system
- Validate the information integrity of transmitted invoices and make corrections if needed
- Encode invoices with or without purchase orders
- Reconcile purchase orders with invoices and request corrections where necessary
- Analyze expense approvals in compliance with expense authority levels
- Analyze statements
- Support and guide various internal departments in the expense management process
- Support and guide suppliers regarding invoicing and related payments
- Receive and process requests from our expense suppliers
- Follow up on urgent files and provide accurate reports to various stakeholders
- Perform all other related tasks

**The qualifications we are looking for**
- D.E.C. or D.E.P. in accounting
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel intermediate, Outlook, Word)
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud an asset
- 2 years' experience in the accounts payable sector
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good judgment and initiative
- Team player
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and changing work environment
- Our Hybrid Workplace Policy establishes that associates need to have a reliable transportation to and from our corporate head office located in Boucherville (Quebec), to come to the office on a regular basis.
- We require all our head office associates to be proficient in French, spoken and written.
