Joe's Family Pharmacy in Saanichton is looking for some part time pharmacy assistants. The right applicants will have a few years of experience working in a pharmacy. Our pharmacy uses the Kroll computer system.

Experience with long term care/residential care is a bonus

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of medications
- Adhere to aseptic techniques when preparing sterile products
- Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy equipment and work areas

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards

Schedule is flexible, we will work with the right applicants.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour
