Assistant Venue Manager

**Job Summary**
- **Experience**: Look for a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in venue management, event planning, or hospitality. Experience should include overseeing a variety of event types, such as conferences, weddings, concerts, or social functions.
**Duties**
- Supervise daily operations of the venue, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead a team of staff members, providing training in customer service best practices.
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff as needed to maintain an efficient team.
- Collaborate with event coordinators to plan and execute events smoothly.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
**Requirements**
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing venue operations.
**Problem-solving abilities**
- The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure is crucial for handling unforeseen issues and customer complaints effectively during events.
**Marketing and promotion**
- Work to increase revenue by collaborating with marketing teams and implementing promotional strategies to attract bookings.
**Event execution**
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and in-house staff to ensure the flawless execution of all events, from setup to take down.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $36,740.22-$75,192.21 per year
Expected hours: 36 per week
