The Director of Leasing is responsible for marketing and leasing functions while developing initiatives to increase revenue and profits. This individual is responsible for achieving quarterly/annual leasing goals, leading the leasing team, formulating innovative business development strategies, and providing vision for all leasing strategies and their execution.

**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Team Management**:

- Directly support and oversee the leasing team for the whole Shiplake premium urban portfolio.
- In collaboration with the Director of People & Culture, assess learning and skills development needs of teams and individuals, contribute to setting and delivering on plans to address opportunities
- Responsible for ensuring that Team members fulfill their responsibilities when providing timely and accurate information to other departments as requested (e.g. Revenue Management, Site Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, People & Culture, Marketing, etc.)
- Initiate research, development, and implementation of new and existing leasing campaigns, social media marketing, resident engagement, advertisements, sales tools, and other initiatives
- Lead and create marketing content while supporting web projects and other digital initiatives
- Manage external vendors and media agencies; work with agency partners to identify strategic marketing plan
- Measure and report performance of all leasing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Launch new rental projects and set up leasing functions

**Leasing / Accommodations**
- Achieve weekly/monthly sales and vacancy targets
- Collaborate with Leasing team members to set weekly/monthly goals and objectives and to provide training and coaching to maximize performance of the leasing team
- Ensure vacant suites are inspected daily/weekly and liaise with Operations to ensure “100% Rent Ready” status is continuously maintained
- Regularly inspect model suites to ensure all standards are consistently met
- Participate in the development and execution of the leasing strategy for buildings in their portfolio
- Lead completion of quarterly market surveys by the team, analyze data, provide recommendations to senior management, and ensure mystery shop visits to competitors are being completed.
- Identify local strategic marketing and advertising opportunities for individual communities
- Schedule work week for all leasing team members to meet the needs of the business which may include evenings and weekends

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- University Degree or College education with specializations in Business, Advertising, Marketing and /or Communications
- Knowledge of the Yardi suite of products is required for this role (Concierge, Elevate, Maintenance IQ, etc)
- Knowledge of the Condo and Apartment Rental Industry is of paramount importance.
- Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management
- Demonstrated proficiency in internet marketing techniques, technologies, and solutions
- Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
