Universal Machining & Engineering Ltd. is a local leader in the supply of machined components. Core business includes machining, engineering, reverse engineering and assembly.

**Shipper / Receiver / CNC Saw Operator**

This is an ideal position for someone who wants to get into a growing company with advancement opportunities. You will be active in quality control and lean implementation.

**Responsibilities**
- Load and unload shipments
- Manage and control all all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Matching and recording documentation into the ERP system
- Cut material according to work orders
- Stocking inventory
- Assist as needed in Production (CNC)
- Support in all areas of quality control
- Participate in continuous improvement and safe working practices
- Keep a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies, procedures and regulations

**Qualifications and Experience**
- 1 year experience as a shipper / receiver
- Must meet all Health and Safety standards and lift a minimum of 20kg
- Forklift driver certificate an asset
- Good Mathematical skills
- Good understanding of both metric and imperial measuring systems
- Good English communication skills

**Attributes**
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills including integrity, courtesy, tact, teamwork, respect and discretion
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and work well under pressure

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
