Junior Buyer - Purchasing Department

RT Prime has extensive experience in managing and supplying quality engineered custom machine parts and components to help our customers to reduce risk, time and cost. We are headquartered in Victoria, BC Canada with commodity offices in Shenzhen, Huizhou and

Changzhou, China. We also operate RTP MFG - an ISO certified, lean manufacturing company in

Huizhou, China.

**Responsibilities**

In this role as Junior buyer, you will provide procurement support to both existing projects and new business opportunities. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Review of drawing packages and specifications to understand the technical requirements of a variety of products and initiate RFQs.
- Cost analysis and verification.
- Release purchase orders / job orders and to ensure on time deliveries.
- Daily communication with local and oversea vendors to manage the progress of orders.
- Work with internal / external teams on inbound and outbound shipments.
- Reports to supervisor on a weekly basis to go over order status.
- Prepare data / other information required for monthly meetings.

**Qualification Requirements**
- Languages: Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
