**About Us**

At **Boulet Sewer & Drain**, we have built our business on expert craftsmanship, honest service, and a commitment to quality work—every time. Serving both residential and commercial clients in Winnipeg, we are expanding and looking to add a **skilled Red Seal Plumber** to our growing team.

This is a hands-on, full-time role for a motivated and experienced tradesperson who is confident working on **residential and commercial projects**, including **new builds**. You will bring your **gas ticket**, ability to **read blueprints**, and provide **material take-offs** to help drive projects from start to finish.

**What You will Be Doing**

You will be involved in a wide range of plumbing duties, including new installations, retrofits, diagnostics, and emergency services:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Installation and servicing of **tankless hot water tanks**:

- **Furnace installation and service**:

- Install **water filtration systems** and components.
- **Fixture installations** - taps, sinks, toilets, showers, etc.
- **Sewer line and drain tile cleaning** using mainliner, camera, and hydro flush.
- Troubleshoot leaks and **re-pipe water lines** as needed.
- Full **plumbing installs** and retrofits for renovations and new builds
- **Hot water tank** installations and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret **blueprints and technical drawings.**:

- Provide **take-offs** for materials needed on new or existing projects.
- Install, maintain, and repair various **plumbing systems and fixtures.**:

- Measure, cut, and thread pipe using machines and hand tools.
- Join pipe using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or welding equipment.
- **Test systems** for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- **Mark out pipe locations**, connections, and layout based on drawings.
- Perform **basic and advanced drain cleaning**, including toilets and kitchen sinks.
- Cut openings in walls and floors to run piping systems.

**What We are Looking For**

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Red Seal Certified Plumber** (required)
- **Class B Gas Ticket** (required)
- 5+ years of experience in **residential and commercial plumbing**:

- Proven experience on **new construction builds.**:

- Strong ability to **read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.**:

- Capable of providing accurate **material take-offs** and estimates
- Comfortable with plumbing code compliance and inspections
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean abstract

**Nice-to-Haves**:

- Backflow prevention certification
- Cross-connection certification
- HVAC or refrigeration experience (an asset)

Pay: $35.60-$37.89 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
