**Position Title**: Class 1 Company Driver (Rail & Domestic Division) - Evening Shift

**Shift**: Evening Shift

**Job Type**: Full time, hourly

This is a union position. Shifts start and end in Richmond, BC. A company fuel card is provided. Pay remuneration hourly and paid weekly by direct deposit. Dispatch is done by company-issued phone and TMS (Dispatch system).

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducts themselves accordingly, as an ambassador of Simard and our values
- Responds promptly and effectively to any safety or operational equipment problems
- Complies with all Transport Canada rules and regulations
- Completes pre and post-trip inspection in accordance with motor vehicle regulations
- Informs supervisor of any maintenance issues promptly
- Ensures paperwork and related documentation are accurate and legible; maintains records and files.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a valid BC Class 1 with airbrakes Driver’s License
- Minimum 1-2 years of driving experience
- Containers Experience

**Other Information**:

- Simard offers weekly pay by direct deposit
- New equipment, automatic transmission
