**Position Overview**
As a Sanitation Associate, it will be your job to maintain all sanitation standards established by the Distribution Center to ensure a clean and safe work environment for all associates.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Pick up debris inside and outside, empty trash cans, remove spills in a prompt manner, dust racks, doors, lights, cleaning up cigarette butts etc.
- Sweep and mop slots
- Clean sanitation equipment, including sanitation boxes and mops
- Sweep and scrub floors, as well as outside areas to help ensure the safety, proper sanitation, and efficiency of the distribution center
- Maintain equipment daily, topping off fluids, cleaning out brushes and washing equipment
- Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris
- Report equipment and pallet jack problems to maintenance
- Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with ADUSA Distribution standards in the areas of accuracy, safety, and productivity

**About You**
- High School Education or greater
- Able to reach, stoop, bend and lift up to 60 lbs. of equipment.
- Manage to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks)
- Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable (will train associates)
- Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment
- Able to meet production standards set by the company
- Able to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
- Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
