**Position Title**:Service Supervisor

**Team and Location**:Sudbury, Ontario

**Position Summary**:
The Service Supervisor leads a team of Propane Service Technicians, Yard Service Attendants and Mobile Crane Drivers to support the needs and requests of our customers by managing all service department activities and overseeing the activities of the service technicians.

**Some of What You Will Do**:

- Kick off the day with a Tier 1 meeting where you host a safety moment and review the previous day with the team. Ensure all staff are fit for duty, safe and confident for the day. Answer any questions, discuss any issues and action takeaways from the meeting.
- Proactively ensure materials needed to complete service calls are available, place orders as needed.
- Ensure trucks and all equipment is being inspected and serviced by an appropriate date which includes any service, recalls, or annual inspections.
- Monitor that all staff licenses and certificates remain up to date and have been trained on the work they are doing.
- Ensure all required documents are completed and submitted by technicians, such as daily pre-trip, monthly inspections, gas check invoices, detailed notes for service calls etc.
- Quote jobs for customers for tank upgrades, fixing gas check deficiencies etc. by determining labour and material costs and providing to customers.
- Assist with customer escalations as necessary while always providing excellent customer service and prompt resolution.
- Liaise with Service Dispatcher and ensure scheduling of technicians will meet the needs of each customer.
- Meet technicians at various customer locations to preform worksite observations and provide coaching and guidance when necessary.
- Ensure consistent adherence to safety protocols including government mandated compliance policies.
- Review timecards/ requests for time off and prepare on-call schedules.
- Participate in recruitment efforts to build the team as needed, assist with onboarding, and training.
- Promote corporate objectives such as Quarterly Safety Incentive Program, Parkland BOLD behaviours, Parkland Pledge Dollars etc.

This role includes a company vehicle that you may use for personal use if within company policy. Is this true?

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- G license and clean driving abstract required.
- G2 Propane Service Technician License preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices.
- Completion of post-secondary or work-related certifications an asset.
- Two years propane or service industry experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven leadership ability.
- Two years previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Superior customer service and problem resolution skills required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills required.
- Flexible work hours during busy winter season may be required.
