SUMMARY:
- Prepare and tints water-based paint and performs a quality check prior to release
- Fill paint bases in cans from a tote by weight and follow formula sheet exactly.
- Create colour label using the correct codes using computer.
- Dispense colorant into can using an automated dispensing machine.
- Check for color accuracy after mixing the paint using LABDE.
- Maintain completed products on pallet and use forklift to transport materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Some experience involving production operations or the use of basic equipment is required
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES RECOMMENDED FOR POSITION:
- Ability to select proper bases and formulas to mix and tint paints
- Ability to operate paint dispensers, tint machine and mixer
- Ability to lift and stack processed paints on mixing trays and storage pallets
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
- Ability to read and follow work orders
- Ability to maintain work area
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
