**Who we are**:
Paws Away is a Calgary-based provider of exceptional, personalized care for dogs in sitters' homes. Our clients value the family-like attention we give to their beloved pets, and we strive to offer the same level of care that we would provide to our own dogs.

**We would love to hear from you if you**:

- 18 years old or older
- Love dogs
- Have experience in dog care (beyond your own dogs) and have a basic understanding of animal behaviour and canine body language
- Willing to open up your home to provide overnight dog boarding care for one or more dogs
- Ideally have a backyard with unlimited access to dogs for pee breaks and playtime
- Be available most of the day to provide care, play and plenty of love and attention to clients’ dogs
- Organized, reliable, and able to communicate in a professional manner
- Want to support other sitters on a team, share your experience and willing to learn from others
- Hold a valid driver's license and have unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle
- Willing to obtain pet CPR and first aid certification within the first 6 months

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide boarding to one or more dog at your home
- Take dog/s for daily on leash and/or off leash walks when allowed by the owner
- Monitor the health and behaviour of the dogs in your care and address any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the dogs in your care
- Provide daily detailed updates via texting to pet parents
- Administer any prescribed dog medications (as requested)

**Additional Information**:

- Paws Away pet sitters will be responsible for paying their own taxes
- Paws Away pet sitter position is not a full time job, but rather an on-call position as assignments become available
- We work with your availability
- You choose the timing, temperament, size and breed and number of dogs to take for boarding
