**Job Summary**

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and food-loving **Ordering Manager** to oversee all product sourcing and inventory management. This role is crucial in ensuring our shelves are stocked with a well-balanced mix of essentials and unique finds — from farm-fresh produce and pantry staples to local sauces, craft beverages, and artisan goods. You'll work closely with local vendors, manage purchasing systems, and support our mission to offer something truly special to our community.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Forecast product needs based on sales trends and seasonal demand
- Place and manage purchase orders across grocery, giftware, and specialty food categories
- Maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste or overstock
- Receive and check deliveries for accuracy and quality

**Vendor & Supplier Relations**
- Source and maintain relationships with local and artisanal suppliers
- Negotiate pricing and terms while supporting ethical and sustainable practices
- Evaluate new products and provide input on product selection

**Product Curation**
- Collaborate with store leadership on seasonal displays and product themes
- Stay current on food trends, customer preferences, and community needs
- Ensure product mix aligns with Deep Cove Market’s values and aesthetic

**Team Collaboration**
- Work closely with store and deli staff to anticipate ordering needs
- Communicate effectively regarding stock issues, new arrivals, and promotions
- Support merchandising and product placement on the floor

**Administration**
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and vendor information
- Monitor product margins and contribute to profitability goals
- Use POS and inventory systems to track and analyze performance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
