Kind & Confident Ed's Young Yogis Summer Camp is a Mobile Kid's Yoga & Mindfulness SUmmer Camp for campers Ages 6-12 and their families across the GTA. Our mission is to "Help children grow mindfully through movement, connection and self love so they can learn to be kind to themselves and others" through our curriculum. We partner with various locations such as community centres and outdoor facilities to help bring children an empowering summer camp experience. We are currently looking for Camp Counsellors who are kind, energetic and passionate in working with children ages 6-12 years old. As a mobile service, we are looking for Camp Counsellors who have access to reliable transportation and the ability to commute to various Community Centres/ locations indoors and outdoors across Caledon/Bolton/Vaughan area **Requirements**: - Summer camp experience - Experience working with children - Must be flexible with hours and willing to commute to different locations for camp - Standard First Aid - CRP-C (Valid for 2 years) - Vulnerable Sector Screening - High 5 Certified - Have an interest in yoga - Kids Yoga Teacher Training Certification is an asset, NOT mandatory (or Open to taking it) **Skills**: - Knowledge of early learning philosophies/frameworks - Creativity - Passion for working with children - Great communication skills - Flexibility - Dedicated/Loyal Job Behaviours: - Maintain a warm and welcoming environment to children - Professionalism in interaction with participants, location staff etc - Arrive 15 minutes prior to start of camp day to set up and engaging/ age appropriate programs - Able to create and follow lesson plans - Attend virtual trainings and in person trainings. **Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 3 months **Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour Schedule: - Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: All staff are required to follow government mandates in place to keep staff and participants safe.
