**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Hands-on work**:formwork, framing, finishing, restoration**, cabinets, flooring, doors, windows, siding, drywall, and insulation.
- Read blueprints and project plans; measure and calculate materials.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively.
- **Lead Carpenter only**: supervise and mentor junior carpenters.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites

**Experience**
- Proven carpentry experience; residential background preferred.
- **Red Seal or equivalent experience** a strong asset.
- Concrete forming and finishing experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of **BC Building Code** as it relates to electrical, plumbing, sprinklers, HVAC.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and leadership ability.

**Qualifications**
- Apprenticeship or Red seal certificate or equal industry experience
- 3 + years of professional carpentry experience
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Experience in restoration is an asset
- Working knowledge of WCB regulations
- Plan reading and interpretations.
- Working knowledge of Part 9 of the building code.

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
