Bracing Technician

The Saskatoon Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center (SOSMC) is looking to fill a full time position in our bracing department. The Saskatoon Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center is a multidisciplinary clinic focusing on outstanding patient care. The bracing/orthotics department works closely with general practitioners, surgeons, and physical therapists to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Position Responsibilities:

- Pre and post-operative bracing
- Acute injury assessment and management through bracing
- Various office duties
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Patient billing/certain supplementary billing
- Inventory management
- Opportunity to assist development of custom bracing in the sports medicine lab
- Accounts receivable
- Opening and closing duties
- Cash management

**Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and independent
- Organization and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of human anatomy
- Experience with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and Accuro Software is an asset
- Preference given to applicants with a Kinesiology degree
