1to1 Rehab is an accredited niche therapy service provider known for our strength in Speech-Language Pathology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Nutritional services. 1to1’s team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Registered Dietitians, and Therapy Assistants provide services in homes, long-term care facilities, and schools in the Greater Toronto Area to clients of all ages.

**Caseload Area**:
1to1 is currently recruiting full-time, part-time, and occasional/casual Occupational Therapists in East York under secure Ministry funding. Occupational therapy is offered in homes and in schools with some telepractice.

Scheduling by the OTA may be flexible. Caseloads can be personalized; contact us for a discussion. Extensive support is offered. **Key Responsibilities**
- Implement rehabilitation programs with the client as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Provide one-on-one therapeutic support to the clients
- Promote the independence of the client in the school
- Facilitate a smooth transition into school or work activities
- Facilitate and supervise activities of daily living as directed
- Promote and implement leisure activities as directed
- Implement exercise programs as directed
- Able to work under supervision accepting responsibility and accountability as assigned
- Document progress notes

**Key Qualifications**
- Graduate of a recognized OTA College program
- Preferred 1 year of experience working as an OTA with clients with complex injuries/diagnoses
- General knowledge of mobility aids and assistive equipment
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Superior communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills
- Willing to travel to schools or client’s homes (if applicable)
- Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
